STATE AG LAUDED ON CONFERMENT OF SAN TITLE

Encomiums has continue to pour in on the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Uwemedimo Nwoko, SAN, following his conferment with the respectable title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Ethics and Privileges Committee  of the Nigerian judiciary. He was among 71 other recipients sworn-in to the revered position at the Supreme Court of Nigeria on Monday.
Chairman /CEO of CLEDD Nigeria Limited, a logistics service provider in the Nigerian oil and gas downstream sector, Chief Charles Ukoette, has been among the latest names of notables swelling the list of well wishers to the distinguished solicitor.
Speaking in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom capital, Ukoette  has described the conferment of the legal title as “honour and reward for hardwork, dignity and diligence in duty”; adding that it is ” a recognition well deserved”.
He said: ” To me, this conferment of the SAN title on the AG (Attorney General) is so remarkable. It is both and honour and reward for hardworking and diligence in duty.”
“As a recognition well deserved by a legal luminary who’s been distinct to distinguish himself in the practice of the legal profession, it can only but represent a mark of achieving great feat of excellence in a field best best known for ones’ eruditeness,  diligence, wit and exceptional brilliance; I am happy to identity with him in this great moment”.
Noting that it was ” another great honour done to an outstanding Akwa Ibom son,” the renowned captain of industry and philanthropist said it was ” most especially thrilling, coming on the heels of his recent appointment as a Life Bencher, by the Nigerian Body of Benchers”.
“As a luminary who has excelled so much in the legal profession, there is no doubt in me that this recent recognition but much of  a lofty honour will bring more excellence to the recipient’s practice.”, Ukoette remarked.
