International Women’s Day :MWUN Congratulates Women Globally

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has congratulated women across the globe on their annual event of the International Women’s Day celebration.
The congratulatory message was contained in a release today and ,signed by the Head, Media,Comrade Kennedy Ikemefuna
The Union lauded women globally and Nigeria in particular for their massive contribution towards the socio-economic development of the nation ,and for holding out in their various endeavors.
Part of the message reads,”We are proud to associate with you, especially the women in Nigeria who have contributed immensely to the growth of the home fronts and in building of the nation in their various fields of human endeavours”.
MWUN assured that the Union will continue to support women inclusiveness in all areas of their professional career as they have approved of themselves in the recent past in various capacities, even amongst the men folks that women have the capacity and ability to impact societies positively both locally and universally.
” As a Union, we celebrate with you on this occasion of the International Women’s day. The leadership of the Union led by the President -General, Comrade (Prince ) Adewale Adeyanju, wish to congratulate you all, while wishing you a successful Women’s Day celebration” the statement concluded.
