Buhari, To Flag Off UASC, NSC Shippers Day In Lagos

President Muhammadu Buhari will declare open the three day shipper’s day event being put together by the Union of African Shippers’ Council(UASC) and the Nigerian Shippers’ Council(NSC) between January 16 and 18th next week.
The event which is powered by the Federal Ministry of Transportation is scheduled to hold at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The theme of the seminar is “African Continental Free Trade Agreement(AfCFTA): A veritable platform for African Shippers to mainstream into global trade”.
High point of the event would be the review of the AFCFTA by members of the UASC with a view to come up with a roadmap on how to address the challenges confronting the initiative.
