MWUN PG, BUNU Felicitates Nigerians On New year With Message Of Hope

The President -General Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, celebrates Nigerians on New year.
Abi, thanked Nigerians for their resilience during the outgoing year , according to him, in spite of all the trouble of insecurity, hardship, unemployment, high cost of living and transportation in 2025, ‘my fellow Nigerians” stood firm weathering the storms of socio-economic pressure that had ravaged the country.

Comrade Bunu, stated that there’s no other way Nigerians could have survived the outgoing year, if not for their resilience, thoroughness, endurance, comportment, hope and faith, which has been the characteristics of Nigerians at any difficult situation, in turmoil, or disaster, as the case may be, they have always found recipe from their positive attributes of life. That’s every Nigerian, I know.

The pragmatic labour strategist of the Maritime Workers’ Union, encouraged Nigerians as he describes them as one of the “Strongest People” in the world, who can survive in any situation to achieve in the most difficult atmosphere to continue to be what they are, praying that in the New year 2026, all they have passed through will become a situation of joy and a success story of every individual Nigerian which will come in various manifestations.

He urged the federal government of Nigeria to urgently look into the plights of Nigerians, saying that Nigerians have suffered so much lack in the years back, therefore, the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, must begin to reflect on Nigerians as we sail into 2026, as this is the only way “my fellow country men” can be compensated for their daily tears of hardship, which they suffered in diverse dimensions.

Comrade Bunu also called on the federal government not take Nigerians for granted for their “thick skin” in surviving the tumultuous situations in the country.

The MWUN PG, reiterated that Nigerians do not have another country they can call their own, he however called on the Nigerians to join hands together to make Nigeria better in the years ahead so that in peace, unity and faith, we can conquer our fears of living in harmony. He wished all Nigerians a prosperous Happy New year, enmeshed in good quality life.
