MWUN Partners Insurance Firm For Passengers Safety On Waterways

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) led President – General, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi is partnering with Coronation Life Assurance Limited, situated at Coronation Building, 119, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Maritime Workers Union, MWUN which operates forty two (42) Docks/Loading points in Rivers State in conjunction with Multijanc Concept Limited and Coronation Life Assurance Limited,
seek to safeguard its customers ( Passengers ) against incidents of Medical Emergency, Permanent Disability, and death, while traveling on the waterways within its 42 loading points in Rivers State.
The Union approached the Insurer through the consultant to provide insurance coverage for passengers who travel with the Union by sea against medical emergencies, permanent disability, and death.
The Union further explained that this measure has been put in place to safeguard the lives of passengers and both drivers in the cases of boat mishaps within the spelt out zones in Rivers State.
