CUSTOMS: CSC Maiwada Gets Accolades, As He Bags Spokesperson Of The Year

The National Public Relations Officer of Nigerian Customs Service (NSC), Chief Superintendent of Customs, CSC Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Spokesperson of the year” award.
The award was presented to him by Spokesperson’s digest, a division of image Merchant public relations as evidence of his outstanding career.
The event took place in Abuja and was graced by distinguished personalities and was held in honour of Maiwada’s notable public relations contributions and steadfast commitment to the Nigerian Customs Service.
In his post award interview with NCBN correspondents, Maiwada acknowledged the accolades and how it is an inspiration to elevate his contributions further. He attributed his success to the “teamwork” efforts of officers in his department, and he recognized their unwavering support.
His words: “Today’s recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of my team, serving as a motivating force to strive for excellence.”
Maiwada also expresses gratitude for the motivation and guidance he receives from the Comptroller General of Customs CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi and his management team.
He highlights his belief in getting the best from his work, his passion combined with an unwavering support from his team, plus motivation and guidance from his elders have always been the driving force behind his success.
The National PRO is recognised for his professional accumen and also for his commitment to mentorship, urging the organisers to continue appreciating the dedication and enthusiasm of media practitioners and agencies.
He stressed the need to sustain a culture of recognition for those who are making significant and notable contributions in their various fields.
In his closing remarks, Maiwada expressed heartfelt appreciation to the ACG of Customs Head Adeogun Alajogun, who represented the CGC at the event for his unwavering support.
