The peace brokered by the Council for Regulation of Freight forwarders of Nigeria (CRFFN), recently and which has brought peace back to the foremost Freight Forwarding Association, has been described as a noble feat.
President of African Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON), Otunba Frank Ogunojemite stated this in a congratulatory message to the Association of Nigeria Licenced Customs Agent (ANLCA),in which he also commended the Chairman, Governing Board, Council for Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Alhaji Tsanni Abubakar, for returning peace to the Association .

Recall that ANLCA had in the last five years being engrossed in internal wranglings over the control of the soul of the association.
As a result, the once peaceful Association became polarized into two factions ,with each claiming legitimacy over the other
The crux of the matter was who should be the Chairman of ANLCA Board of Trustees following the election of Iju Tony Nwabunike as President of ANLCA. Consequently,Chief Taiwo Mustapha formed a parallel executive which ultimately refused to recognize Nwabunike’s presidency until the later exited office las year.

Until the intervention of the Chairman, CRFFN Governing Board, Alhaji Tsanni Abubakar and his Committee, series of efforts made to bring peace to the warring parties met with stiff resistance ,as each party remained adamant.

The APFFLON President, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, was therefore elated that at last peace has returned to the ANLCA,and therefore congratulated and appreciated the National Executive of ANLCA, its entire membership and specially hailed the Chairman, CRFFN Governing Board, Alhaji Tsanni Abubakar, and his Committee for their efforts in ensuring that peace returned to ANLCA.
His words,”On behalf of APFFLON, I sincerely congratulate ANLCA, the Foremost Freight Forwarding Association, and also the Chairman, CRFFN Governing Board, Alhaji Tsanni Abubakar and his Committee for achieving this noble feat, it is indeed an understatement to say that the crises that rocked ANLCA did not negatively impact on the Ports industry, it really did, and going forward, we urge the leadership of ANLCA to preach peace and no more war. The Industry needs its robust contributions to blossom and not crises.

“I want to appreciate Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha and his men, a big thank to Chief Tony Iju Nwabunike , Dr Kayode Farinto and his executive, and special appreciation to Chief Taiye Oyeniyi for his gentlemanly disposition.

“I want to also appreciate Prince Segun Odutan, Alhaji Abdulaziz Mukaila and the Acting Registrar of CRFFN, Mrs. Chinyere Uromta as well as Heads of Government Agencies in Maritime Industry who contributed in one way or the other.

” I say a big congratulation to all the members of ANLCA and to everyone that made the peace pact achievable”.
