Angela Clinches Labour Party Reps Ticket

…Pledges Robust Representation For Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency

After experiencing initial huddles in her quest for the House of Representatives ticket of the Ajeromi- Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Angela Ohakosim has finally secured approval of the Labour Party’s (LP) leadership to contest the seat in February 25th, 2023 General Election.

Consequently, her name has been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) office in Lagos and the commission’s Headquarters in Abuja, as the authentic candidate of the party for the constituency, having been cleared by both the State and National leadership of the Labour Party.

Popularly known as “Imole Tide,” Angela, got the mandate to contest the House of Representatives seat under the Labour Party.

According to Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, a tiger should not shout about his tigritude, which simply means that Mrs. Ohakosim, is someone who does not believe in shouting about what she is capable of doing, but rather allows her actions to speak for themselves.

As a tactician and strategist, her interest in the House of Representatives position was earlier dogged, but she however, ended up becoming the approved candidate by the Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party.

Reacting to her triumph, she pledged a robust and more pragmatic representation at the grassroots level, to replace the lackluster performance of successive holders of the position in the constituency from other political parties, stressing that there was no alternative to quality representation and good governance at all levels.

She stated that as a grassroots person, she knows the pains, anguish and the core needs of her constituents, adding that she was poised to provide quality representation, aimed at assuaging the plights of the less privileged members of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun constituency.

“I will focus on sponsoring legislations that would alleviate poverty, empower and create wealth for a vast majority of members of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, while issues of the girl-child education and violence against women will be tackled frontally,” she stated.

Angela, a transformative leader, consummate writer, astute businesswoman, educationist and preacher of the Word of God, who was born and raised in the Catholic Church, got married to Mr. Declan Ohakosim, who is a Catholic faithful at the St Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is an Apostle of the Divine Call Bible Church Incorporated, Lagos State, Convener of Female Gospel Ministers Network International and The Praying Apostles.

She is also the proprietress of Divine Endowment Nursery/Primary and High School. Director, Community Development at the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) at the Province level, as well as Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eran Consulting Links Limited, a life coach, top liner and an impact maker with outstanding proofs of lives impacted across the world.

Angela, who is a recipient of several awards from Local and International organisations, was awarded Doctor of Science of the Institute Superieur De Management Technologie (ISMT) University in Benin Republic.
She is a licensed Catering and Hotel Management expert, a trained and licenced expert in poultry value chain, as well as a compassionate woman, who has supported widows, orphanage homes and the less-privileged through her Jesus Children Outreach Foundation (JCOF).

Angela is an Apostle of God, who preaches the gospel globally Haven been licenced by International Ministers Forum (IMF) in the United States of America (USA). She is the Convener of Radiance Achievers International Awards, as well as promoter of Radiance International Magazine and platforms for youths, teens and kids.

The House of Representatives hopeful has impacted children and youths through her educational scholarship schemes globally, just as she has reached out to thousands of widows, orphanage homes and the less privileged in the society.
