Promotions Galore: Apapa Customs Decorates 200 officers

The Nigeria Customs Service, Apapa Command this Thursday decorated 200 newly promoted officers with new ranks sequel to the outcome of the promotion exams they recently sat for.
At a decoration ceremony which took place today at the command’s head office, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba implored the newly promoted officers to ensure they uphold the highest ethical standards required by the Service.
Oshoba however noted that the promotions were a testament to hard work and dedication to duty, the whole charging newly the promoted officers to demonstrate greater commitment to their responsibilities, as their new positions now require smart work and impactful results.
Furthermore, the CAC revealed that 200 officers of the command were promoted, including eight Deputy Comptrollers promoted to the Comptroller rank, 30 Assistant Comptrollers to Deputy Comptroller, and 35 Superintendents to Chief Superintendent of Customs.
His words: “In your new positions, you must uphold higher standards to justify management confidence in you. You should see your promotion as a call to improve your performance and justify the management’s confidence in your capacity to deliver more.”
