Minister’s Aide Implicated in Lesbianism, Resist Arrest, As 13 Others Land in Police net.

March 11th,
A top political aide to a Nigeria Minister of State, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Hannah Aigbomian has been implicated in lesbian activities, a criminal offense that attracted 14 years jail term if found guilty by the court.
The aide was among the 13 persons with her partner, Aviela Komi that were arrested in a coordinated raid carried out by a special police squad assigned to arrest and flush out gays and lesbians in the Federal Capital Territory since the enactment of the law. It was however reliably gathered that the security aides attached to the aide prevented her arrest and aided her escape with her Togolese partner from the scene.
The raid followed an intelligent report of gays and lesbians activities at the disposal of the special squad at the force headquarters in Abuja with a matching order from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to arrest and prosecute such personality in the society, no matter how highly placed in Nigeria.
The leader of the squad, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) said his men monitored the activities of the group at Gwarimpa Estate in Abuja for several weeks before carrying out the raid to arrest people that involved in homosexuality. He stated that lesbian group hide under an empowerment organisation to perpetrate the abominable act which is punishable by law with a 14 years jail term if offenders are found guilty of the crime.
Meanwhile, findings have shown that the minister’s aide, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Hannah Aigbomian is the Chief Executive Officer of “New Edenn House of Avanti”, a fashion firm that partnered with the Federal Government on SURE-P program to train and empower hundreds of women and girls across the country. Source however said the CEO has been using the programmes to support and empower women and girls to promote the agenda of lesbianism. She was particularly said to be systematically empowering those that are members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer group.
According to the DCP, the police have been on the trail of the CEO of “New Edenn House of Avanti”, a None Governmental Organisation (NGO) with the pretense of empowering widows and lifting vulnerable women out of poverty over a period of time, before they finally get their facts.
The DCP said “our operation follows several petitions we received from different organizations and concerns Nigerians. During our raid, we met the ungodly ladies half naked, dancing and having different sexual activities with fellow female partner. We monitored them and observe their atrocities before embarking on the arrest. We cannot allow this kind of nefarious activities to keep going on in our society. With the new law that is recently enacted in Nigeria, people like this should be arrested immediately and brought before the law.
“We were dismay at what we saw as it was shocking to say the least, that a highly placed married woman has engaged herself in such an activities of lesbianism. She resisted arrest and made some calls. Before we knew it, over 15 police officers, in three van to the scene to disrupt her arrest. They forcefully took the Political aide, and her partner identified as Aviela Komi to an undisclosed location.
An FCT resident and a taxi driver who spoke to our correspondent, Alhaji. Ahmed Yusuf said “there is a secret agenda by the Western nations to established their ideology and promote the activities of the LGBTQ+ Movement in Nigeria. We are grateful to the government of President Goodluck Jonathan for finding the courage to enact a law that prohibit the movement, despite all odds against the enactment of the law, especially from western leaders who frowned at the new law against the LGBTQ+ movement.
