The Honorable member in the Federal House of Representive Hon Joe Okey representing Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency has in the spirit of season shown how important his constituency is to him by organizing a Val/Talent Hunt to mark St. Valentine’s day on 14, February 2024.
The event which took place at the Prestigious Meals & Event Center in Lagos was attended by his constituency, young and old.
At the event, Hon. Joe disclosed he was organizing this today in the spirit of the day and much more important, to discover hidden Talents and also create an enabling environment and opportunity for youths to excell in their variously fields. Okey welcomed all performers to the occasion as he wished them well, as he reiterated that the best performer will go home with a prize.

The Special Guest honour at the occasion, a renown Actor Kanayo.O.Kanayo who thanked Hon Joe Okey for organizing the event and for inviting him, he admonished the Crowd to learn to appreciate performers with as little as clapping their hands as a way to encourage them, even as he stressed that it is not easy to handle a crowd of this capacity.
He went on to appreciate all the performers by encouraging them to continue in their stride, stressing that this is how “Most of them started”, his words,” I am not here to press phone rather to discover Talent who will in the nearest future be in the limelight and will one Day remember where he was discovered. Many big time Celebrates started from Churches or Talent Hunt like this but today they are been celebrated.
Kanayo urged the performers not to be dissuaded, pleading for them to remain focused and dedicated to their callings as he declared, “Entertainment is the newest Oil of the world.”
At the end, prizes were distributed to the best performers, while other c gifts were handed to other performers. Todaynews gathered that the event will be held annually by Hon.Joe Okey on behalf of his constituency.
