GTI Launches
“All Citizens Have Equal Right”

Guard Time Information, a Human Rights Advocacy Team based in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has launched “All Citizens Have Equal Right.”

The Organization Which is made up of Legal Practitioners nationwide, Journalists, Human Rights Activists, Political Leaders and Leaders from other areas of life in Nigeria, under the umbrella of Guard Time Information has at the Launch recently, stated that, all citizens of Nigeria have equal rights and the activities of tribalism, religion, politics and other should not stop anyone from doing the right thing at the right time.

Guard Time Information Human Rights Advocacy Team Barristers and Human Rights Activists from the six political regions have promised to fight against injustice, insecurities, corruption, intimidations at all levels of life; women and children abuses, molestations, rapes and other attacks. The group said that anyone who finds herself in any of these sorts of situations from persons, government, military, para-military,
or organizations of employees should report to Guard Time Information. GTI have assured that they will take the matter from there.

Guard Time Information States Coordinators Comrade Laiye Abraham Tueridi, Barr Yakubu Alhaji Adamu, Bar Julius Okoro, Barr Olisa Chukwuka, Comr Edward Nnachi, Comr Amusan Emmanuel, Amb. Dr. Nnah Monday Akpan, Eng Emmanuel Adie Abua, Comr Lawrence Jnr Aguele, Bar Abel Amasowomwan, Comr Aminu Magaji Kazaure, Bar Shehu Aminu, Barr Abdullahi Badamasi Dodo, Barr Umar Umar Musa, Hajiya Aishatu Bakari Gombe, Barr Ismail Ibrahim, Mr Bashir Ibrahim, Dr Abdulateef Kehinde Badmus, Barr Obadiah Manasseh, are in active speaks on going after contractors who have collected money from government to develop rural areas but instead misappropriated it. They have also pledged to go after agencies and ministries of government that refused to carry out their duties and responsibilities,. These set of people or agencies they said, will face the law.

The legal heads of the three northern region speaking on how to support Federal Government, State Governments and security agencies to build up a safer region for the safety of lives and properties in the region and business flow, promised to put their intelligent best to push out those behind the killings in the region and those sponsoring this evils act.

Guard Time Information promised the Students Unions that have working understandings that, they will be paying more attention to the affairs of schools, students and well-being of the students. GTI however tasked the students to call their attention if they find anything abnormal: like Lecturers oppressions and exploitation.

The Patrons of Guard Time Information are; Dr Dauda Muhammad Atiyaye, Barr Muhammed Yakubu, Barr Sale Samanja from Yobe State and Hon. Mohammad Bello(Zanna Jangalma of Borne) .

GTI appreciates the efforts of the legal teams and States Coordinators for their tiredy efforts of supporting humanity and the National Human Rights Commission, Nigerian Police Force and other agencies for their actions in support to positive response.
Guard Time Information Chairman, Comdr Bibi Oduku said that they will be engaged in investigating the well-being of primary, secondary schools, higher institutions and hospitals how staff are taking care of people, “we will visit companies and industries to find out Human Rights Violations and bring people to Law.”

Female Barrristers, Barr Thyma Abiola, Barr Bitrus Nuwa, Barr Eshiet Divine Joseph, Barr Juliana Bako Saleh, Barr Chiamaka Egbusiri, Barr Confidence Agbator, Barr Elizabeth, Barr Meibe Damba, Barr Victory Adelaiye Oluwaseyi, Barr Goodnews Chima, Barr Elizabeth Omearebu slso pledged to do their best to fight against women and children abuses, molestations, rapes and other related attacks in government agencies and all sectors of life in Nigeria supporting the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs.
