In the realm of Customs and border protection, few names resonate with the same level of respect and admiration as that of Deputy Controller of Customs, DC Frank Onyeka.

Since taking over as the Officer in charge of Exit Gate ,Apapa Port, DC Frank Onyeka, has exhibited high level of discipline, integrity and accountability, rare values that have characterised his stewardship culminating in the unprecedented revenue record of the nation’s premier port and admirably endeared him to his boss; the Command’s Area Controller Dr Babatunde Olomu and by extension, the Comptroller General of Customs, Wale Adeniyi who repose much confidence in his ability.
Only recently, the Customs Area Controller of the Apapa Customs Command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu ,announced that the command recorded N1.87 trillion revenue within the 3rd quarter of the year, 2024. a significant improvement from the 2023 figure recorded within the same period , which announced a significant rise in revenue generation owing to the dedication and finesse of Senior officers manning the Heads of various Units.

He was awarded Revenue Officer of the year, while serving at Onne, he has also recently clinched the same honour in Apapa Customs.
